In 2013 & 2014, I jumped straight into the deep end. My very first merch jobs were Riot Fest Denver, slinging shirts for legends like The Cure, Slayer, Blink-182, and AFI. Those massive crowds taught me how to stay calm under pressure, read a room, and turn chaos into cash flow. That foundation still powers every event I take part in today.
